Who can purchase the Toolkit?
Water and wastewater agencies. The Toolkit is built for the way those agencies are organised, staffed and governed, and it is not sold to schools, colleges or other kinds of organisation. There is no self-service registration — an account is created after purchase.
Do we need to be an ACWA member?
No. ACWA membership is not required to purchase or use the Toolkit.
Is pricing shown on the website?
No. The Toolkit is an annual agency subscription, and we quote it in a conversation so we can answer procurement questions at the same time. Ask us and we will tell you plainly.
How many people at our agency can use it?
Each agency receives one login, and your agency may share those credentials internally as it chooses. There are no user limits and no per-seat pricing. One person's email is tied to the account.
Is implementation support included?
No. The Toolkit gives your agency what it needs to run the program itself. Implementation support is a separate service, quoted after a consultation.
Does the Toolkit recruit interns for us?
No. The Toolkit gives you the guidance, processes and templates to recruit well. Recruitment itself — school and district outreach, student recruitment, interview coordination — is part of implementation support.
Does Tomorrow’s Talent run our program?
Not as part of a Toolkit subscription. Program management is available as an implementation service for agencies that want the extra capacity.
Can we download the resources?
Yes. Resources can be downloaded and shared within your agency, and you keep what you have downloaded even after a subscription ends. They may not be redistributed to other agencies.
Can we customise the templates?
Templates are filled in through the Toolkit, which keeps your agency's version and applies your logo automatically. That is how they are modified — the formatting stays consistent across everything your agency sends out.
Is the Toolkit only for California agencies?
No. The Toolkit itself works for any water or wastewater agency, wherever it is. Implementation services are focused on California and neighbouring Western states, because those involve being there in person.
Does the Toolkit provide legal advice?
No. It includes guidance on the practical and compliance questions internship programs raise, but it is not legal advice and is not a substitute for your agency's counsel or risk advisors.
Is it for water and wastewater agencies specifically?
Yes. Every resource was built for the way water and wastewater agencies are organised, staffed and governed, rather than adapted from a general internship program.
How do we get an account?
Talk to us first. Once a purchase is agreed we create your agency's account and send the sign-in details. There is no public sign-up.
Can we see it before we buy?
Yes — ask for a walkthrough and we will show you the Toolkit properly rather than a slide deck about it.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
No. The term is one year, and renewal is arranged with you before it ends — we send a reminder rather than charging quietly. If a subscription lapses, access stops but your account and your agency's work are kept, so reactivating picks up where you left off.
Can a school or college purchase the Toolkit?
No. The Toolkit is for water and wastewater agencies only. Schools, districts and colleges are central to a good internship program and it is built to help you work with them — but the subscription itself is for the agency hosting the interns.
